Dads of babies under 12 months old are invited to join this free group that explores the feeling of gratitude and the experience of challenge that comes with becoming a new father. Discussions include understanding feelings of stress and confusion, navigating relationships, and caring for your baby, your co-parent, and yourself. Groups are facilitated by two licensed Ohana clinicians, who both happen to be new fathers themselves, and feature guest speakers from the community. Whether you are a single dad, a co-parent, a stepdad, an adoptive dad, or any other kind of dad, you are welcome here. This group is not a therapy group, but rather a supportive space where you can connect with fellow fathers and feel validated and empowered.
The Fathers Group for New and Expecting Dads is held on Wednesdays from 5:30–7 p.m. Babies under 12 months old are welcome.
